Lab Certified LEED
2007-11-05
The State of Indiana Forensics and Health Sciences Lab has received LEED Certification. A2SO4 led the design team through the initial portion of the LEED process including low-energy design, reduced heat island effect, reduced water consumption, enhanced indoor air quality, construction waste recycling, and reduced light pollution.
As associate architect for the project, A2SO4 coordinated the building envelope, ceilings and vertical circulation elements; coordinated the production of the construction documents with engineers and equipment vendors; and monitored construction and assisted the contractor with construction issues.
