
2008 ACE Mentor of the Year Award

A2SO4 project manager, C. Anthony Elliott, AIA, IIDA, NCARB, has been awarded the 2008 ACE Mentor of the Year Award for the George Washington Community School team. The ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc. is a unique partnership among industry professionals – architects, engineers, construction managers, college representatives and other professionals from related corporations and professional organizations – who work together to attract young people to their professions. Industry professionals volunteer to become mentors to high school students introducing them to the professions and encouraging them to pursue studies and careers in these fields. In return, the industry gets a much needed boost of new talent.
