
A Monumental Affair – The 2009 Awards For Excellence

A Monumental Affair is the premiere design awards event in Indianapolis recognizing excellence amongst those who have contributed to the enhancement and beautification of Marion County through the built and natural environment.
A2SO4 was involved in three projects that received recognition at the 32nd Annual A Monumental Affair Awards for Excellence. In the award category of Interior Design, the project Indiana University School of Medicine – Research III was awarded Merit. BSA Lifestructures served as lead architect with A2SO4 responsible for the interior design of common areas and a two-story lobby area.
In the Downtown Development category, the project Lucas Oil Stadium received the Honor Award. The Stadium also received awards in the categories of Community Development, Construction, Engineering, and Landscape Architecture. A2SO4 was a consulting architect to HKS Inc. of Dallas, TX.
The Indianapolis International Airport Parking Garage + GTC was awarded Merit in the category of Architecture. As part of a joint venture, A2SO4 was the principal designer and architect of record and served as LEED consultant for the airport parking garage.
