Ilorin International Aviation College
A2SO4 was asked to develop preliminary design concepts for The Ilorin International Aviation College, which is slated to be the second of its type in the West African Sub-region and a first for Nigeria. The proposed college will be built adjacent to the existing Ilorin airport and will be used for student flight training responding to the demands of the regional aerospace and tourism industries. The aviation complex will be comprised of classrooms, offices, boarding facilities for students and instructors, hangars, and flight simulator training spaces. The boarding facilities, designed to accommodate the needs of 150 students, will offer a gymnasium, cafeteria, and swimming pool in addition to dedicated living spaces.
