State of Indiana Forensics and Health Sciences Laboratories
This facility was designed by lead architect , Ratio Architects, to combine the Indiana State Police Forensic Laboratory, Indiana State Department of Health and State Department of Toxicology.
As associate architect our scope included the following: coordinated the building envelope, ceilings and vertical circulation elements; coordinated the production of the construction documents with engineers and equipment vendors; monitored construction and assisted contractor with construction issues. Additionally, A2SO4 led the design team through LEED process including low-energy design, reduced heat island effect, reduced water consumption, enhanced indoor air quality, construction waste recycling, and reduced light pollution.
